Eligibility
A degree from any university established by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India, another educational institution established by an Act of Parliament, or a declaration under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 that an institution is deemed to be, are required. Alternatively, one must hold an equivalent qualification that has been acknowledged by the Government after consulting with the Commission.
Selection Process
1. Preliminary Exam
- One objective-type paper with a maximum score of 200 points will make up the pre-exam.
- The Exam is only intended to be used as a screening tool.
- The paper will be held to a bachelor's degree level of excellence.

2. Mains Exam
- The following four descriptive/analytical papers will make up the written exam.
- A candidate is required to complete all of the papers below, which also include a question paper with short, medium, and long response questions as well as descriptive questions.
- The Senior Secondary level will be the benchmark for both General Hindi and General English.
- Three hours will be allotted for each paper.
