On the evening of November 10th, The white Hyundai i20 that exploded near Delhi’s Red Fort on Monday night, killing nine people and injuring at least twenty more, was captured on camera. According to reports, the vehicle with registration number HR 26CE 7674 had been parked in a nearby lot for more than two hours prior to the explosion.

The explosion from the Hyundai i20 sparked off a series of events that resulted in multiple cars catching fire and widespread fear throughout the congested area of Old Delhi.

At his house, Union Home Minister Amit Shah presides over a high-level assessment of security meeting.

The conference is attended by Delhi Police Commissioner, Director General of the National Investigation Agency, Director of the Intelligence Bureau, and Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan.

The Jammu and Kashmir DGP electronically participated in the conference as well. The review follows the explosion that occurred in Delhi on Monday night, which resulted in eight fatalities and several injuries

The US expressed sympathy for the fatal explosion that occurred close to Delhi’s Red Fort and stated that it is still keeping a careful eye on the situation.

“Our hearts are with those affected by the terrible explosion in New Delhi. We continue to closely monitor the situation. Our sincere condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. Praying for the speedy recovery of those injured,” the State Department’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs said in a post on X Monday.

Following the Red Fort explosion in the nation’s capital on Monday night, security has been increased at the Mata Vaishno Devi cave shrine, its base camp Katra, and Jammu city, according to officials. At least eight persons were killed and other vehicles were destroyed when a high-intensity explosion tore through a slow-moving vehicle at a traffic signal close to the Red Fort Metro Station. The explosion, which happened in the middle of the evening while the area was full, injured twenty-four persons, according to officials. “In key parts of the Jammu region, security has been strengthened. The base camp in Katra and the Vaishno Devi cave temple now have more security, a police officer informed PTI. All around the region, a high warning has been issued.
